Venice – The City of Bridges

The located in northern Italy city is one of the biggest tourist destinations not only in the country but in Europe. It is famous with its water channels and romantic places to visit. But there are many other interesting sites that deserve to be seen, too.

I recently understood there were water taxis and buses and this is what makes the city unique. You can take a tour to the San Marco Square. There are a few landmarks as the Doge's Palace located here. It was named on Doges who ruled during the Byzantine era. St. Mark's Basilica is another must to see. It is the most famous church in Italy.

It depends on what time of the year you will choose, but you can enjoy the Carnival of Venice known as very interesting event. It is annual festival which occurs usually in February. The tradition is that everybody is wearing a mask and there is no identity between the social classes. It is usually visited by more than 30,000 people every year.

Do not miss to visit the wonderful Venice Hotel which is already the new landmark in the City of Bridges. It offers comfortable rooms with precious Venetian fabrics and marble bathrooms. Enjoy your unforgettable stay in Venice.
