The University of Cambridge

With the beginning of the new year, we start making plans about the next one. If you haven't considered yet what you would like to do, you can think about your education. Studying in the second oldest university in the United Kingdom is a great idea. All you need to do is book a room in one of the luxury hotels in Cambridge.

The university was established in 1209 by scholars that left Oxford and even today the two institutions are compared very often with each other. They both have many common features and also a long history of rivalry.

Cambridge has one of the best pedagogical systems and ranks as the top university on the Old continent and in the world. It is one of the three universities that form the “Golden Triangle” together with Oxford and London.

31 colleges form the University of Cambridge and three of them admit women only. Each college has its own property and income. Some of them are very large but some are smaller. The main method of teaching is the supervision as every student receives from one to four supervisions per week.

May be because of its long history, the university has developed many different myths and legends, most of them untrue, of course. You can become part of this famous institution, if you just explore Cambridge by yourself. The city offers variety of things to do and some of the best Cambridge hotels.
