Rome or Venice

The holidays are almost here and it is time to start thinking about where to spend them. It is great if the answer of this question is Italy, but you still have to think about which part of Italy you want to explore. There are two very interesting destinations where you can have unforgettable vacation: Rome and Venice. I know it is hard to pick up one that's why I'll try to help you.

It doesn't matter which time of the year you will choose because both Venice and Rome are beautiful through the whole time. Of course, each season has something magical, especially the winter. This is the best time to visit the City of Bridges and have a romantic experience with a gondola. Grand Canal is perfect for this purpose, to spend a few private moments with the loved one.

On the other hand, Rome is not less romantic. It is the 3rd most visited city in Europe and has a lot to offer. Among the famous landmarks are the Colosseum and the St. Peter's Basilica. The first one is the largest amphitheatre built ever made for the gladiatorial contests and spectacles and the St. Peter's Basilica is located in the Vatican city. It has the largest interior of any other church and is a great place for a romantic trip.

If you already decided to spend the holidays in Italy, you can always visit both places. Have a few days in the romantic Venice hotels that offer precious experience for Christmas and then head toward one of the luxurious hotels in Rome to enjoy the hospitality and the Italian style.
