Places You Have to Visit in London

Valentine's Day is almost here. May be most of you have already made plans about the evening. When it comes to something romantic, everybody prefers cities like Paris and Venice. It is very romantic to spend a day on a gondola along the Grand Canal. But what about something different and not less romantic.
A night in some of the luxurious London hotels and many beautiful sites you have to visit.

London is the largest metropolitan area in the UK, which means there is a lot to see. Everybody knows the popular Tower Bridge which is an iconic symbol of the city. Its name comes from the Tower of London and it consists of two towers tied together by two horizontal walkways. Originally the bridge was painted in chocolate-brown until 1977 when it was repainted.

Nobody goes to London without visiting the Palace of Westminster. The building is the meeting place of the House of Lords and the House of Commons. The palace is situated on the north bank of the River Thames. The first building was destroyed by a fire in 1512 and then in 1834 by a second one. Its construction began in 1840 by the architect Charles Barry and today the palace is the centre of the political life in the UK.

The capital of the United Kingdom is a fascinating place full of historical buildings and beautiful landmarks. You can have a wonderful vacation in one of the amazing London hotels.
