Culture Tour in London

London is not only fish and chips and river cruses. It has a culture of its own. Through out its history England gradually became the area where the first theaters and universities were established. England is the homeland of William Shakespeare, Hugh Grant and many other talented artists, poets and actors.
It is amazing how London has gathered it all. Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre is one of the first in Europe. The original building was the exact location where Shakespeare breathed life in many of his plays. The former open-air playhouse is now rebuilt and recreated in an Elizabethan style.

Some of the most exciting museums in Europe are in London. There are topics for everyone to choose from. War museums, Natural History, British museums are really worth visiting. But take your time, there are plenty of things to see, so be prepared for a long tour.

There is even the World Rugby Museum for all sport fan of the game that originated from the UK. Soccer and tennis are also one of the contributions of England to the world.

Some London hotels have the magnetic look of ancient Victorian buildings. You can admire the Waldorf hotel, as it is almost in retro style inside out.

Culture is what England highly praises so no wonder that many of its world known landmarks have to do with theatre, literature and sport. Just visit London, buy a Shakespeare play and read it aloud in your hotel room. You will feel the power of the words embodied by the old masters. Then you will never forget your time in London, and the room in these Mayfair hotels.
