London Hotel Dilemma

Finally! When all the preparations are done, luggage is packed, the flight is booked, is anything missing? Oh, no! We still have no accommodation. This is a problem.

So in order not be homeless while we are on a romantic trip to London, we have to be quick. If we were smarter we would have seized the chance to take advantage of the promotional offers at Gatwick airport hotels, but however, we can still book a room.

We need a strategy. As I wanted it to be the best holiday ever, a part from the exhausting sightseeing, there will be lots of things demanding our attention, we need a decent place to rest and recover. We want a hotel, offering us all that we desire – peace and comfort. I am not in for a pricey luxury place, but Waldorf hotel seems perfect for a trip to London.

We looked for a place near the landmarks – along the Themes or anywhere in central London. As we would like to see a lot, everything, the accommodation should be located in this area.

It was not as simple as I thought. Most hotels are in the centre, but are quite overpriced, mainly due to the view of the Houses of Parliament or the Themes. Later I thought why not book a room at Heathrow hotels, for the night of the arrival and then look around when we are in London, already! At least we will have a place to relax after the flight and take a break from the crowded airports.
