Visit Park Bois de Boulogne

Bois de Bologne is a vast park in western Paris. It is usually not full of tourists, so you can relax undisturbed by the big crowds.
How to get there? This vast green peace of land is boardered by River Seine to the west and is close the 16th arrondissement of Paris to the east. You may have already been there without knowing it. The park encloses place Trocadero and the famous Palais de Chaillot near the Eiffel Tower. It is going to be a long walk so be prepared.

It is smart to book a room in a Hotel Paris la Defense or somewhere near the centre in order to manage to see it all using the public transport. The most commonly used means of transport in the French capital is of course the metro. The station you need is Port Dauphine - one of the main gates of Bois de Boulogne.
Route de Suresnes will take you to Lac Inferieur - the most picturesque part of the park. The lake is artificial but the view is really astonoshing.
Lovers also have a special area of the park to indulge in their feelings. It is called Bagatelle gardens and its really romantic with the rose bushes and flower beds. Many Parisians have made love there. They even have a catch phrase "faire la bagatelle", meaning making love.
At the end of the day you need a rest, so why not enjoy a peaceful dinner at Arc de Triomphe hotels or in a cosy restaurant with a panoramic view of night Paris.
