Vienna in a Couple of Days – Main Attractions

People like to visit Vienna mostly because this city gives the sense of aristocracy, elegance and culture. But how would anyone feel the spirit or the old imperial seat if there is little time for sightseeing?

First to mention, Vienna is not a cheap city. It is foolish to expect that even the smallest souvenirs wouldn't cost you a lot of the weight in your pocket. Considering this, the finest hotels Vienna has are surely a reasonable choice. That way the appropriate service will be guaranteed.

I would recommend to begin with the St. Stephen's cathedral. One of the oldest symbols of Vienna, this marvellous Gothic monument is fine introduction to the old Habsburg glory. From here you can walk in downtown on the narrow streets with alluring small shops, elegant squares with sculptures and fountains, bars, restaurants and many more.

One of the best ways to enjoy the old town is to hire a carriage. They may be a little too expensive , but will give you a lot of bragging rights and a touch of snobbery in a positive sense. The best way to keep this sense is to leave the carriage in front of the Hofburg Imperial Palace where you can see the royal apartments, the Crown Jewels and some of the best museums in the world or visit the Spanish Riding School.

If you get tired you can look for one of the many restaurants and take a cup of Viennese coffee or Schnitzel and a glass of the local wine.

For the next day, a nice strategy is to visit the Schonbrunn palace with its zoo, the Belvedere palace and its art gallery and the famous Prater with its famous Ferris wheel.

You can depend on the services of Hilton Hotel Vienna for a truly magnificent vacation in the Austrian capital.
